Adding seasonal touches to your home revitalises and energises the space. Transitioning from winter to spring as the days get longer and warmer and the gardens erupt with flowers can be achieved in simple effective ways.

Replace dark richly coloured winter-appropriate accessories like throws, velvet cushions and moody candles with linen and floral cushions in fresh pastels like robin’s egg blue, soft pink, and lemon yellow that say spring, as well as extending into the warmer months of summer.

Introducing yellow curtains, flowers, and decorative pieces, give any room the sunshine treatment (think: lemons and yellow tulips)

Create a beautiful floral centerpiece for your table, stunning on its own, but it really shines when placed on top of a garden-inspired tablecloth or table runner.

Bring Spring into the bedroom by dressing the bed with crisp white and  bedding accented with coral or blue or mint green.

Incorporate everything that the season has to offer and bring Mother Nature indoors by the scattering of plants and flowers in bright colours and fresh greens throughout your interior — but remember: fresh is best

Cleverly swapping fabric-covered dining room chairs for understated wicker and rattan ones can change the feel of your dining space heralding summer.
